Your key responsibilities:
- Work closely with Marketing, Product Owners, Business Analysts, Front End Developers and other key stakeholders to brainstorm solutions to challenging problems
- Translate concepts into user flows, wireframes, mockups, and UI designs that clearly illustrate how the digital products function and look
- Communicate UI mockups and designs effectively to key stakeholders
- Create and maintain brand design systems for platform-wide usage
- Identify UI and UX problems
- Optimise UX based on user feedback and data learnings
- Prepare and handoff final assets to developers
- Bonus skill: Creating original design elements (e.g. illustrations, images, sketches, and tables) according to corporate brand guidelines
- Bonus skill: planning and conducting user research in a variety of formats, including surveys, remote and in-person user testing
Role requirements:
- A graphic design qualification from a reputable institution or relevant tertiary qualification
- At least 5 years of relevant work experience
- Expert knowledge in standard UI/UX software such as Figma and Adobe Creative Suite
- Expert knowledge of user-centred design principles and mobile-first design
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Natural problem-solver
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Meticulous attention to detail while keeping an eye on the big picture
Ability to:
