job description - Transport Administrator

The Administrator’s primary purpose is to provide administrative and office support to the transport team. This person will also be responsible for:

  • Vehicle license renewals
  • Updating relevant excel spreadsheets and reports
  • GPS logbooks
  • Leave applications
  • Webregister
  • Store requisitions
  • Insurance claims
  • Recording of bin activity
  • Record keeping of licenses
  • Quoting and invoicing

QUALIFYING EXPERIENCE

  • A minimum Grade 12
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office – Advance Excel knowledge
  • At least 2 years’ experience in a similar role

QUALIFYING ATTRIBUTES

  • Accurate and attention to detail.
  • Ability to multi-task and manage demanding workload in a pressurized environment.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
