  • The Strategy and Enablement Lead is responsible for developing and executing strategies that enhance the effectiveness and success of partnerships within our organization. This role requires a strong blend of strategic thinking, project management, and relationship-building skills to drive mutually beneficial

Key responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following:

  • Partnership Strategy Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to formulate partnership strategies aligned with the organization's objectives and long-term goals.
  • Partner Identification and Evaluation:Identify potential strategic partners, conduct due diligence, and assess partnership opportunities for alignment with the company's mission and values.
  • Contract Negotiation: Lead negotiations of partnership agreements, ensuring terms are favorable and compliant with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Enablement and Onboarding: Develop onboarding processes and resources to ensure successful partner integration, including training materials, systems access, and support mechanisms.
  • Performance Metrics: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and tracking mechanisms to measure the success of partnerships, regularly reporting on progress to stakeholders.
  • Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships internally within Next176 and Old Mutual, especially with Partnership Leads across industries, and relevant external stakeholders acting as the primary point of contact to address issues, share updates, and identify opportunities for collaboration.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with Next176 strategic investments, venture building and other parts of Next176 and Old Mutual as well as partners to align partnership activities with broader business strategies.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks associated with partnerships and develop mitigation plans to address them proactively.
  • Budget Management: Manage and allocate resources effectively to support partnership initiatives, ensuring cost-effectiveness and ROI.

Qualification, Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Proven experience in partnership management, strategic planning, or a related role.
  • Strong project management skills, including the ability to lead cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Understanding of legal and compliance considerations related to partnerships.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience working in technology or a related industry.
  • Familiarity with CRM software and partnership management tools
