Purpose of Job
- To perform specialised activities related to the development, maintenance, and execution of the control processes to document, maintain configuration control, and report on projects cost and schedule baseline.
Recruitment Description / Key Accountabilities
- Execute cost control project functions to ensure the effective cost control and management of the shutdown, project Works Breakdown Structures (WBS) and maintenance cost in the portfolio
- Ensure that the financial goals of projects are met throughout the project life cycle
- Provide cost control service on shutdowns and capital projects implemented by Natref T&I function
- Ensure project and maintenance cost stays within budget by implementing and applying effective cost control measures
- Compare maintenance and T&I costs to benchmarks
- Ensure accurate cost forecasts are developed and through accurate reporting
- Ensure effective communication to actively manage project budgets
- Provide cost reports that are up to date, accurate and are beneficial to the control of project cost
- Provide input into portfolio 1 page reports in Cost Performance Index (CPI)
- Management of control base and cash flow on shutdowns, projects and tank restoration
- Ensure functional reporting line to Management Accounting
- Ensure all Natref procedures, polices and work instructions are followed
- Alert Manager T&I of any potential contravention
Formal Education
- University Bachelors Degree
MIn Experience
- Experience: 6+ relevant years
