- A Grade 12 (matric) certificate is a minimum requirement
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
- Minimum of 1- 2 years experience in a Supervisory or Team Leader role within a Distribution Centre that uses handheld scanning devices
- Leading a team of people for 1 to 2 years
- Knowledge of warehouse management systems
- Working knowledge on both inbound and outbound warehouse processes
- Basic mathematical understanding
- Experience with Google packages (or Microsoft packages)
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Takes initiative and good problem-solving skills
- Deadline driven
- Planning and organisational skills
Key Responsibilities
- Receiving of stock
- Ensure the DC Assistants pick and pack the stock accurately to meet their daily
- Manage courier deliveries and dispatch of stock according to booking slots.
- Conduct cycle counts to validate system-to-floor accuracy.
- Check the accuracy of the waybills to ensure that the returned stock is meant for the E-commerce DC
- Health and Safety
- Consistently provide feedback, coaching and training to ensure that staff perform at optimum productivity levels.
- Regular communication sessions with the team
- Investigate any IR incidents and deal with them promptly and follow company policies & procedures.
