job description - Sales Representative
- Build and maintain relationships with key pediatricians in the territory.
- Design appropriate strategy to achieve sales goals and targets in assigned territory.
- Achieve market share, volume growth and sales target in assigned territories by calling on all relevant healthcare professionals and institutions.
- Maintain prescribed customer call rate.
- Call on retail nurses and pharmacists.
- Establish and maintain relationships with customer base Identify new business opportunities.
- Attend trade displays and presentations which can involve after hours and weekends when required.
- Attend cycle meetings and conferences.
- Maintain appropriate expenditure.
- Compliance with company Code of Conduct.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERTISE:
- Education: Relevant Nutrition/Medical and/or Commercial Tertiary qualification is essential.
EXPERTISE AND COMPETENCIES:
- A minimum of 3 years sales experience in relevant healthcare industry ideally having dealt with HCP’s is essential, with previous experience calling on Pediatricians and maternity unit managers in the PTA area is needed.
- .Candidate with previous nutrition background is definitely an advantage in this role good communicator and self-motivated.
