job description - Sales Representative

  • Build and maintain relationships with key pediatricians in the territory.
  • Design appropriate strategy to achieve sales goals and targets in assigned territory.
  • Achieve market share, volume growth and sales target in assigned territories by calling on all relevant healthcare professionals and institutions.
  • Maintain prescribed customer call rate.
  • Call on retail nurses and pharmacists.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with customer base Identify new business opportunities.
  • Attend trade displays and presentations which can involve after hours and weekends when required.
  • Attend cycle meetings and conferences.
  • Maintain appropriate expenditure.
  • Compliance with company Code of Conduct.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERTISE:

  • Education: Relevant Nutrition/Medical and/or Commercial Tertiary qualification is essential.

EXPERTISE AND COMPETENCIES:

  • A minimum of 3 years sales experience in relevant healthcare industry ideally having dealt with HCP’s is essential, with previous experience calling on Pediatricians and maternity unit managers in the PTA area is needed.
  • .Candidate with previous nutrition background is definitely an advantage in this role good communicator and self-motivated.
  • Business planning acumen and ability. Assertive, Proactive and enthusiastic. The salary for this role is between: N/A
