job description - Pre-Sales & Prescription Cluster Leader (Data Centres)
- Manage, develop and reinforce Secure Power pre-sales engagement across all Cluster Channels, End Users, and Design offices.
- Lead ad-hoc prescription strategy supporting key projects active influencing, promote reference designs, with active on ground support to the sales force engagement during the pre-bid and bid cycles.
- Support Cluster Pre-sales organization collaboration and alignment with Cluster Channel Leaders, line of competency, V1 / V2 sales priorities, to deliver the committed order, and sales committed.
- Behave as trusted advisor supporting cluster BVP in managing pre-sales / business teams engagement toward delivering business, customer, project lifecycle deliveries commitments.
- Lead the IT & C&I Channels Partner Enablement toward comprehensive partners learning experience, enhance in EDGE, C&I datacenter, midsize revenues business through partner channel.
- Ensure maximum partner attendance to SE design tools.
- Collaborate with MEA Pre-sales Competency Group Leader to determine priorities, bid submission SLA's, required technical supporting cluster monthly orders / sales plan and confirmed achievements.
- Support Secure Power Line of Business - MEA Offer Managers, in deploying new offer launches and execute offers rebound plans.
- Responsible for Solution development, evaluation and approval process management.
- Responsible for technical alignment with customers and internal stakeholders to close the opportunity design / tendering and engagement.
- Evaluate overall profitability of an opportunity and work with the pricing / sales team and/or the customer to close the deal.
- Responsible to escalate for additional approval according to standardized delegation of authority rules.
- Take initiative in identifying and resolving issues around technical compliance, pricing and margin improvement.
- Evaluate the viability of reaching the promised potential of the opportunity and the profitability of closing the deal.
- Ensure risk is mitigated wherever possible.

Qualifications
- Technical qualification - Electrical / Mechanical / Industrial Engineering
- 5 - 7 years experience as a Solutions Architect
- Exposure to large scale design projects
- People manager
