job description - Planning Analyst

  • This position is responsible for completing assigned raw material planning tasks and assisting with general administration for the Central Planning team during the Senior Planners' maternity leave, until the end of the peak period. (8-month contract)

Responsibilities

  • Prepare MRP Schedules for allocated materials to highlight raw material requirements.
  • Process stock transfer orders and delivery notes aligned to the Weatherboard loading schedule.
  • Enter data on BOM Spreadsheets to be used to update SAP BOM’s on quarterly basis.
  • Check Obsolete Inventory listing and distribute to relevant plants for action to be taken.
  • Obtain required BW and SAP Reports and save on the Central Planning Teams Site
  • Responsible to update month end Supply Chain Templates used for reporting.
  • Provide support on critical tasks identified by Central Planning team during peak period.

Challenges

  • Working under pressure – strict MRP deadlines
  • Working autonomously and having limited direct access to immediate manager
  • Deals with various inventory materials and service centers.

Experience

  • Experience in raw material planning and inventory control
  • Proven work history with Analytics and Reporting

Skills and Knowledge

  • Knowledge of CHEP Processes
  • Analytical skills
  • Ability to thrive in a time-sensitive environment.
  • Ability to effectively prioritise
