job description - Media Sales: Key Account Manager
Key responsibilities:
- Drive new print advertising sales
- Achieve monthly sales targets
- Manage client direct and agency relationships
- Activate new customers through strategic selling
- Compile and present ad sales proposals
- Creative brainstorming with internal stakeholders
- Customer service through the entire ad sales funnel from prospecting to proposal, through to briefing, collation of assets, approvals, after sales service and reporting
- Ensure clients are informed of all new product offerings
- Build strategic relationships with key clients and other internal and external stakeholders through regular and ongoing communication
- Keep abreast of latest trends in media and sales effectiveness and adopt new approaches as required in order to expand client base and increase revenue
- Accurate revenue forecasting and tracking
What you’ll need:
- Minimum of 5 years print advertising sales experience in a similar environment
- Knowledge of print & digital advertising landscape.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Able to compile unique PowerPoint presentations per client
- Relationship building skills
- Good numerical abilities – be able to craft packages based on understanding rate card and hard costs
- Adaptability
- Innovative and pro-active
- Ability to work under pressure and reach sales targets
- Attention to detail
- Deadline driven
