KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS AND INDICATORS
Key performance areas are basically the main groups of activities that are performed. In other words, the KPA’s stress the end results. The indicators indicate how these activities are measured.
- The Innovation Brand Manager will lead the work on all innovation renovation initiatives
- Lead the project development, implementation and reporting of food, packaging, and geo-location renovations.
- Leading the compilation and submission of stage gate documents for renovation projects
- Developing insight-driven packaging, research and ATL/BTL Briefs
- Developing concept Boards
- On the first 12-month performance metrics of all new initiatives
Support Innovation Manager on Innovation Initiatives:
- Pulling Data from Tableau, Nielsen, or relevant other systems.
- Compiling graphs /tables of information from data.
- Innovation Briefs support (P&L input sheet, packaging, insights/ research/BTL )
- Supports Innovation Ideation Process
DIMENSIONS, EDUCATION & RELEVANT YEARS JOB-RELATED EXPERIENCE
This section describes necessary levels of education, experience, dimensions (skills) and management training necessary for acceptable performance in the position.
EDUCATION & RELEVANT YEARS JOB-RELATED EXPERIENCE
- Commercial/ Marketing degree or equivalent
- Preferred and demonstrable 3-4 years of classic blue chip FMCG marketing experience.
- Proven 3- 5 years of experience responsible for supporting OR delivering new ideas into the market.
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:
- Strong communication skills
- Strong influencing skills are required to drive internal alignment, e.g. with Finance, Sales, Supply Chain and R&D
- A passion for our brands and a strong execution and results focus are essential, in addition to project management skills and the ability to prioritise
- Seamless working with stakeholders, teamwork and project management competencies will be a key requirement
- Work as a team player - we are a small team therefore teamwork is really big to make things happen
- Some travel will be necessary to oversee the execution of brand programs
- Strong sense of ownership and pride to drive execution
