job description - HR/Admin Officer

  • HR Related tertiary qualification would be
  • Computer literacy in MS Office with previous experience in Accsys HR & Payroll software being an advantage.
  • Strong administrative skills are essential with excellent knowledge of various HR functions such as pay & benefits, recruitment, onboarding, training & development, disciplinary proceedings & exits.
  • Attention to detail focussed/assertive/organised/accurate & well
  • Must be able to work under pressure and meet
  • Must be able to work independently and apply
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills at various employee / managerial levels as well as in large groups
  • Problem-solver
  • Must be fluent in Xhosa
  • Good decision-making skills
  • Strong ethical standards


  • At least 5 years relevant practical HR (Generalist) experience of which 3 years to have been in a supervisory role in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experienced in labour relations and disciplinary proceedings.
  • Sound understanding of SA employment
  • Sufficiently familiar with the requirements of EE Act to be able to assist in the co-ordination of company EE
  • Must have knowledge and previous experience in WSP/ATR requirements and SETA funding applications.
  • Experience with coordinating training and development
  • Experienced in Recruitment and selection
