job description - Head Of Sales Operations

Purpose:

  • Manage, Improve & optimize sales process & increase efficiencies
  • Manage, Improve & optimize demand planning to support retail/wholesale targets
  • Manage, Improve & optimize logistics process to increase deliveries efficiencies
  • Manage, Improve, & optimize lower funnel

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies and plans to ensure smooth car flow and logistics, optimizing distribution processes and minimizing delivery lead times.
  • Lead a team of sales planning professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance feedback to drive team effectiveness and individual development.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Supply Chain, Production, and Logistics, to gather data, analyze trends, and align car flow with production capacity and market demand.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including dealers, distributors, and logistics partners, to ensure effective coordination and enhance the overall customer experience.
  • Prepare and present regular reports and strategic recommendations to senior management, highlighting key performance indicators and suggesting actionable insights for continuous improvement.
  • Take responsibility for the interaction with the region on monthly target setting, budget preparations and re-forecasts.

Carflow

  • Conduct regular analysis of market trends, customer preferences, and sales forecasts to anticipate car demand, optimize inventory levels, and ensure availability of popular models.
  • Develop and implement systems and tools for tracking and monitoring the movement of vehicles throughout the car flow process, ensuring real-time visibility and efficient coordination.
  • Utilize data and analytics to identify potential bottlenecks or inefficiencies in the car flow and logistics process, and propose and implement improvement initiatives.

Logistics

  • Collaborate with dealers, distributors, and third-party logistics providers to coordinate inbound shipments, manage inventory levels, and streamline the delivery process.
  • Develop and implement effective inventory management strategies, ensuring proper allocation of car .models to different sales regions and optimizing stock levels.
  • Monitor transportation costs, negotiate contracts with logistics providers, and identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising on quality and delivery timelines.

Sales

  • Collaborate with the Sales Operations team to ensure accurate reporting, track car flow metrics, and identify areas for improvement.
