Education: CA (SA) or CIMA, BCom Honours Accounting/Financial Management- Experience: Minimum 5 years in financial management, encompassing full accounting functions, departmental management, cost control, tax management, and financial planning.
- Skills: Proficient in MS Office suite and accounting software packages, adept at financial analysis and reporting, strong leadership and communication abilities.
- Commitments: Goal-driven, resilient, and action-oriented, focusing on quality and achievement.
Key Result Areas:
- Ensure accuracy and timeliness of financial accounts and monthly management reports.
- Collaborate with auditors for year-end audits and compliance with IFRS.
- Develop procedures for effective financial reporting systems.
- Prepare and analyse monthly reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Provide divisional financial statements and reports as needed.
- Assist in budget preparation and updates, including financial forecasting.
- Manage foreign exchange forecasts considering market conditions.
- Handle statutory tax submissions and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
- Prepare reports for the board regarding tax liabilities and payments.
- Monitor cash flow and oversee payments to suppliers.
- Manage debtors and creditors to ensure timely payments.
