job description - Global People Data And Compliance Analyst

The role holder will have responsibility for working with key global and regional stakeholders including Firm-wide Talent Transformation (FTT) program team members, Region HRIS and Talent Process specialists, to ensure:

  • All people data used and stored in Dentons global HR systems (including SAP SF and Qualtrics), and people data used downstream by other Dentons systems, in accordance with Dentons Data Security and Compliance rules, and in compliance with all relevant local data privacy laws

All global HR system data management and compliance activities are completed to the highest standard. These include:

  • Developing and maintaining the Talent data dictionary;
  • Conducting regular reviews of Dentons people data and putting in place processes to ensure ongoing compliance;
  • Investigation and resolution of any people data related issues;
  • Developing and managing the BAU data upload framework and supporting completion of people data uploads in line with data privacy and compliance rules.

This position will report into the CTS Talent Applications Support Manager.

The candidate will possess a background in HR systems, preferably SAP SuccessFactors, and proven experience in implementing, managing and advising on people data best practices.

Role
In all these tasks, co-ordinate and work with Talent Applications Support Manager, Global and Region Talent Support teams, Global and Region Data Protection teams, Talent Transformation team members, and other relevant Global and Regional resources and stakeholders.

Develop the framework to manage (not execute) any Talent data related requests including:

  • Collection, mapping and transformation of people data from legacy HR systems to SuccessFactors data model
  • Uploads and reconciliation of data into SuccessFactors
  • Bulk changes e.g. annual salary changes and promotions
  • Investigate and resolve any people data related issues within SuccessFactors and other downstream systems;
  • Conduct people data reviews on a regular basis and ensure SuccessFactors data is accurate, consistent and compliant;
  • Own relationship with Global and Region Data Protection teams and ensure regular engagement to understand and action any data protection and regulation changes;
  • Engage with Global and Region Data Protection teams to ensure Dentons employee engagement through Qualtrics is aligned to local data privacy regulation;

In conjunction with Global and Region Data Protection teams:

  • implement and action any legal country data retention processes and policies;
  • Ensure alignment of people data across Dentons global and regional programs and systems;

Requirements
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES
About You

  • Business international level of English – both written and oral
  • Highly collaborative and able to work in a truly global environment, accommodating different time zones and cultures. Only team players will be considered
  • Strong knowledge and experience in IT and Talent practices
  • Experience of multinational IT and Talent support operations
  • Knowledge of SuccessFactors – Employee Central essential; Onboarding, Recruiting, Learning and Performance & Goals management desirable
  • Experience of transformation programs

Significant experience and a proven track record of/in/as:

  • HRIS support experience, techniques and tools
  • Best practice data management processes and methodologies
  • Data protection rules and regulations
  • Data extraction, analysis, mapping, transformation and upload techniques and tools
  • Ability to clarify complex problems and communicate these issues towards both technical and business teams
  • Be a team player, able to work effectively across various geographies and functions
  • Drive out decisions and recommendations
  • Independent, pro-active way of working
  • Strong analytic skills and attention to detail

You will possess:

  • Excellent communication, influencing, and stakeholder management skills
  • Experienced user of MS Office suite
  • Be versed in working across cultures and time-zones
  • Be able to thrive working under pressure, and be able to multi-task
  • Experience of working with layers of engagement and approval
  • Impeccable attention to detail and ability to work with a wide variety of people and projects in a collective and collaborative manner

Desirable Qualifications / Experience

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a People Data Analyst
  • Experience of SAP SuccessFactors Data Migration/Uploads
  • Experience with data privacy impact assessments
