job description - Front Desk Dispatch Clerk

  • The main purpose of the job is to ensure accuracy when releasing orders to customers

 

Education/Qualification, Skills, and Experience

  • Matric
  • 1 year’s experience in a similar position is beneficial

 

Skills & Competencies

  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Well-disciplined individual
  • Ability to work with difficult customers
  • Attention to detail
  • Good communication ability

 

Outputs and Responsibilities

  • Ensure all contents of the order are checked thoroughly with the customer to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Ensure that full payment has been received/confirmed when releasing any orders
  • Ensure that all orders over R50 000 get confirmed and signed off by your Manager
  • Assisting customers with queries
  • Other duties as required by your line Manager
  • General housekeeping

 

Training

  • Basic computer training
  • Excel level 1
