job description - Dispatch Administrator

The Dispatch Administrator primary purpose is to provide support to the Copperworks Dispatch department as dictated by operational requirements.

Responsibilities (NOT limited to the below):

  • Receive and dispatch orders
  • Stock control and stock take
  • Maintain safe working procedures at all times
  • Assess and plan with Managers on sizes to process
  • Effective execution of tasks received from managers
  • Labelling and manually preparing items for collection and dispatch
  • Ensure smooth execution of delivery/collection process
  • Ensure that accurate quantities and sizes are dispatched as well as checking that the applicable paperwork corresponds with orders dispatched

  • Grade 12
  • Supervisory and planning skills
  • Good organizing skills
