job description - Despatch Controller: Fleet
To monitor the daily progress of despatching Activities and to co-ordinate urgent unscheduled despatch requests.
Requirements:
- Grade 12, Valid South African drivers licence (Code EB and/or A)
Required Experience:
- Experience as Despatch Controller,
- Knowledge: Basic Vehicle Maintenance, Knowledge: Google and Google Mail,
- Knowledge: Meditech system, Knowledge: MS Excel, Knowledge: MS Word,
- Knowledge: National Traffic Rules and Regulations,
- Knowledge: Transport related procedures and processes
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain good client relations in order to promote the image of Ampath,
- Monitor and co-ordinate the daily despatch Activities in order to ensure the optimal utilisation of drivers and messengers,
- Monitor the Liquid Nitrogen levels to ensure sufficient stock for the lab employees,
- Perform administrative tasks in order to ensure that the relevant documentation is accurate and accessible
