Qualification: 4 year Degree / NQF level 7, Diploma warehousing and distribution CIPS, CSCP- Experience in a similar role: Up to 3 years
Duties & Responsibilities

- Analytical mindset with the ability to analyse data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions to optimize
- operations.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- and external stakeholders.
- Experience working in an international or multi-national warehouse environment is highly desirable.
Standardization of Warehouses and Stores:
- Develop and implement standardized warehouse and store processes, including Bin location management, receiving,
- storage, picking, packing, and distribution.
- Establish and enforce uniform operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistency and efficiency across all
- warehouse and store locations.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to maintain compliance with organizational standards and industry regulations.
- Bin location standardization and rationalization in line with SKU management from category and procurement teams.
Stock Management Processes:
- Oversee all aspects of stock management, from receipt of goods to issuance and repurposing.
- Implement robust inventory control measures to minimize stock variances and ensure accurate stock levels across all
- warehouses and stores.
- Lead initiatives for stock repurposing, optimizing inventory utilization, and minimizing excess or obsolete stock.
Management of Store Controllers:
- Recruit, train, and supervise a team of store controllers responsible for day-to-day operations at each warehouse and
- store location.
- Provide leadership and direction to store controllers, setting clear performance objectives and KPIs.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide coaching and development opportunities to enhance team
- capabilities.
