What will you do?
- Looking for a new opportunity? The claims department is looking for an individual to fill the post of a Claims Assessing Team Manager.
What will make you successful in this role?
- Grade 12/Standard 10/NQF 4
- Qualified Motor body Repairer certification.
- Tertiary qualification will be beneficial
- Formal Abuntex training certificate
- Minimum 5 years assessing and/or body repairing experience
- Minimum 3 years estimating experience on the Abuntex system
Driverables include, but not limited to
- Monitor the correct execution of all department procedures and processes through random audits.
- Plan and implement a sustainable training program for a team - both technical and service related.
- Conduct and approval of write-off assessments above pre-determined amount.
- Monitoring and auditing of all additional repair costs.
- Monitor & audit work in progress done by the team.
- Provide guidance and assistance on problematic and technical repair decisions.
- Contact clients and evaluate validity where Very bad FB is received.
- Set up and conduct formal feedback sessions with team members where FB is valid.
- Attend to re-assessment and give feedback if required.
- Attend to claim queries from Call center staff requiring management input.
- Promote excellent service concept and share excellent service feedback with team members.
- Analyze and develop plan of action to correct problems identified during department meetings.
- Conceive and implement creative methods to encourage team coercion.
- Implement and foster a positive can-do attitude to team members.
- Define and implement team key performance area goals to achieve overall department goals.
- Track team key performance areas and oversee performance management of team members.
- Conduct and oversee team members meeting.
- Conduct interview and approve successful candidates.
- Provide internal training & support for new recruits.
- Oversee team annual leave.
- Encourage Team members to live by and adhere to the miway’s values.
- Coaching & Training of stuff where applicable.
- Manage and maintain relationships with all stake holders.
