In order to be shortlisted for this role, you have the following skills and experience, but not limited to:
Minimum Qualification:
- Minimum tertiary qualification required - National Diploma in Information Technology or equivalent.
- BSc in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering - preferable but not essential.
Minimum Experience:
- 8 years of IT experience.
- 3 years of AWS technical experience.
- Experience with AWS Organizations, Control Towers, and Landing Zones is required.
Skills Requirement:
- Good understanding of cloud computing technologies and recent computing trends and familiarity with enterprise architecture and enterprise application integration.
- Experience in managing front-end platforms, servers, storage, delivery, and networks required to manage cloud storage.
- Experience with operating systems: Linux, Unix, Solaris, Ubuntu, Windows.
- Thorough knowledge of infrastructure architecture and design.
- Good understanding of networking: TCP/IP, IP addresses, HTTP, DNS
- Experience in Scripting languages and Relational Databases (NoSQL v SQL databases technologies).
- Expert knowledge of key security concepts in cloud environments and experience with Governance, Risk, and Compliance
- frameworks for enterprises.
- Experience in proposing suggestions and best practices to optimize customers’ cloud presence, performance, security,
- and cost.
- Experience in creating well-informed cloud strategies and adoption processes for customers.
JOB DESCRIPTION
The role responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Providing deep insight into the value proposition of AWS services and solutions to business partners.
- Leveraging technical experience and knowledge of AWS services and programs to support business partners in progressing on their AWS partner journey and expanding their AWS business.
- Owning the technical sales cycle, including planning and conducting technical demonstrations and workshops, and engaging with partners and clients.
- Acting as the AWS technical advisor to the partner community and establishing and managing strong relationships with both technical and business stakeholders.
- Having deep knowledge and understanding of AWS services, solutions, and programs, technical protocols and cloud architectures, excellent customer and vendor focus, and a passion for technical selling.
