job description - Assistant Depot Manager
- The Assistant depot Manager’s main function is the co-ordinating and maintenance of the silo bag depot.?
- The role may be required to perform functions in addition to those associated with his/her own position.?
Preferred Candidates
- Those who live nearby and/or in the community
- Grading certified (Maize / Soybeans)
Role & Responsibility
- Management of appointed Depot
- Staff management of Grain Handler
- Overall responsibility for Quantity and Quality of stock
- Responsible for stock management
- Site and equipment maintenance
- Responsible for maintaining PPECB records
- Daily site inspections
- Ensure that bags are measured & marked
- Ensure that rodent and weed control are in place
- Daily reporting to Head Office on all site operations
- Weekly depot report
- Monthly closure of contracts and stocktake
- Security, Health & Safety and Compliance management
- Administration, ad hoc
- General work
- Must be willing to relocate and travel.
- Start immediately.
