job description - 2 X Forklift Drivers
- Responsible for the transportation and handling of bales on the receiving floor to ensure that adequate production levels are always maintained. The forklift driver is expected to ensure that bales are neatly stacked and ready for the OM floor and Bin line. As well as any adhoc duties.
Requirements:
- Grade 12
- 3 yrs warehousing experience
- Forklift license (valid)
- Forklift warehousing experience will be an advantage
- Must be able to perform under pressure.
- Must be able to work in a team.
- Must be able to work independently.
- Good interpersonal skills
- Writing and arithmetic skills
- Bilingual (Afrikaans and English)
- Must be able to perform under pressure and follow instructions.
- Attention to detail
Key Functions
- Ensure that the flow of bales to the OM and S&V lines are continuance and uninterrupted.
- Ensure that bales are being transported efficiently and effectively.
- Ensure lots are complete before they are loaded on the gravity feed.
- Responsible for Forklift
- Health and Safety
- To perform any other ad hoc activities/duties/tasks as requested by his superior anywhere in the plant (BKB) premises.
