job description - Van Sales Supervisor
- Ensure sales reps follow route plan to maximize sales & productivity.
- Ensure all targets and objectives assigned by the Line Manager including volume & value sales targets, GP targets and distribution objectives are achieved to ensure optimal business efficiency.
- Manage the Van Sales Reps & monitor their performance providing guidance, assistance, and motivation to increase effectiveness.
- Continuously communication of all stock issues, pricing fluctuations, & competitor activities.Manage a team of Van Sales Representatives to achieve the business results in terms of volume, distribution and coverage.
- Supervision of Van Sales Representatives to ensure timely loading of products in the required quantities.
- Prepare daily reports that include productivity, visibility, sales volumes, competition, training, and submit these reports to the Line Manager
- Accompany Sales Representatives through their daily visits.
- Conduct daily Cash Van stocktaking on periodical basis and prepare reports with the stocktaking results.
- Supervise the process of loading the Cash Vans and solve any issues that may arise with the Warehouses.
- Manage the team & ensure budgeted numbers are exceeded through effective coaching.
- Handling customers issues, meeting sales target, monitoring competitors activities.
- Ensure sales reps follow route plan so as to maximize sales & productivity.
- Conduct regular market visit with all sales personnel to assist them in managing customer issues.
- Ensure sales force are properly equipped.
Education & Experience
- Candidates should possess an HND / Degree with a minimum of 2 years experience managing field sales reps in the market.
