job description - Talent Acquisition Manager


  • The Talent Acquisition Manager is responsible for managing the end-to-end recruitment cycle for the organization, developing talent pipelines, and formulating the recruitment strategy of the organization.

Main Responsibilities

  • Designs develop and maintain the recruitment process in the organization (including its description, recruitment measurement definitions, regular measurement reporting, and taking proper actions to close gaps).
  • Review  key jobs on an ongoing basis and ensure the pipeline is robust
  • Designs the selection matrix for choosing the optimum recruitment channel and recruitment source.
  • Explores the market best practices in recruitment and staffing and implements appropriate best practices in the organization.
  • Builds a quality relationship with internal customers and external recruitment agencies and provides support to functional HR team leads and business partners in various recruitment activities and assesses and prioritizes recruitment needs.
  • Monitors and constantly seek innovative ways to reduce high costs of the recruitment process and delivers maximum value on time to hire and cost per hire.
  • Sets the social media communication strategy for different job profiles and functions in the organization.
  • Arranges for interviews for positions and sometimes conduct job interviews for the designated job positions.
  • Monitors the labor legislation and implements required changes to keep the process compliant.
  • Man and consolidate the LinkedIn Recruiter tool as well as the ATS applicant system and any other platform used by the country in hiring people
  • Assist with Career Fairs and any job fairs or related events that the Company wished to engage in.
  • Acts as the first point of contact for HR business partners on recruitment and hiring matters.
  • Designs adequate training for HR Recruiters and hiring line managers
  • Drives the graduate internship scheme currently in place in the organization.
  • Plans innovative approaches to identifying resources and builds a qualified resource pool for current and future projects.
  • Ensure effective candidate selection, (in line with the organization’s employee branding policies and core values) assessment and onboarding processes are in place.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in any discipline.
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in a related role.
  • Basic knowledge of Labour and industrial relations laws.
  • Membership of HR Professional Bodies is an added advantage.
  • Knowledge of global best practices in recruitment and sourcing.
  • Experience with recruitment projects (internal or external) at any level in any organization is essential.
  • Experience with handling third-party recruiters and handling related services
  • Structured methodical approach, with excellent operational standards
  • Strong knowledge of the business, contemporary trends, and practices in talent resourcing.
  • Strong interviewing and person assessment skills.
  • Knowledge of social media processes/tools is an advantage.
