job description - Talent Acquisition Manager
- The Talent Acquisition Manager is responsible for managing the end-to-end recruitment cycle for the organization, developing talent pipelines, and formulating the recruitment strategy of the organization.
Main Responsibilities
- Designs develop and maintain the recruitment process in the organization (including its description, recruitment measurement definitions, regular measurement reporting, and taking proper actions to close gaps).
- Review key jobs on an ongoing basis and ensure the pipeline is robust
- Designs the selection matrix for choosing the optimum recruitment channel and recruitment source.
- Explores the market best practices in recruitment and staffing and implements appropriate best practices in the organization.
- Builds a quality relationship with internal customers and external recruitment agencies and provides support to functional HR team leads and business partners in various recruitment activities and assesses and prioritizes recruitment needs.
- Monitors and constantly seek innovative ways to reduce high costs of the recruitment process and delivers maximum value on time to hire and cost per hire.
- Sets the social media communication strategy for different job profiles and functions in the organization.
- Arranges for interviews for positions and sometimes conduct job interviews for the designated job positions.
- Monitors the labor legislation and implements required changes to keep the process compliant.
- Man and consolidate the LinkedIn Recruiter tool as well as the ATS applicant system and any other platform used by the country in hiring people
- Assist with Career Fairs and any job fairs or related events that the Company wished to engage in.
- Acts as the first point of contact for HR business partners on recruitment and hiring matters.
- Designs adequate training for HR Recruiters and hiring line managers
- Drives the graduate internship scheme currently in place in the organization.
- Plans innovative approaches to identifying resources and builds a qualified resource pool for current and future projects.
- Ensure effective candidate selection, (in line with the organization’s employee branding policies and core values) assessment and onboarding processes are in place.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in any discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years experience in a related role.
- Basic knowledge of Labour and industrial relations laws.
- Membership of HR Professional Bodies is an added advantage.
- Knowledge of global best practices in recruitment and sourcing.
- Experience with recruitment projects (internal or external) at any level in any organization is essential.
- Experience with handling third-party recruiters and handling related services
- Structured methodical approach, with excellent operational standards
- Strong knowledge of the business, contemporary trends, and practices in talent resourcing.
- Strong interviewing and person assessment skills.
- Knowledge of social media processes/tools is an advantage.
