This individual should be able to manage the preparation of the company’s budget and develop trends and projections for the firm’s finances, generate a good portfolio of investments with high-interest returns, and ensure control and compliance across all finance functions with verifiable outcomes.

Role Mission: To lead and develop strategies for wealth generation (short term & long term) for the company.
Responsibilities:
1. Financial management - Ensure control and compliance across all finance functions with verifiable outcomes e.g., concise and accurate book-keeping, cost reduction to save monies on every front. Prepare monthly accounts, appraise all projects and ensure maximum CoS of 40% - and perform a review as necessary where this is not met in any month with a plan to ensure the goal is met in the next month.
2. Debt Collection & Receivables
a. Ensure to liaise physically/electronically and implement strategies with team members and external contacts to ensure at least 50 percent of debt and receivables are secured in any given month.
b. Constantly suggest ideas to relevant team members to increase income or maximize opportunities.
3. General
a. Ensure Investments that will maximize and grow capital locally and internationally - via preparing investment schedule to show the principal amount and interest, getting approval from management and ensuring minimum cash investment every quarter of 5’.
b. Ensure prompt Budget Preparation and Financial Planning and send to team leads to guide them throughout the year, with monthly and quarterly guides as necessary.
c. Ensure 100% compliance with all statutory, legal and financial obligations e.g., taxes, Audits and returns, CAC Filling, NSITF, PENCOM, ITF etc. Including Payment of tax liabilities and getting TCC for the year and Receipt of all payments for PAYE and pension.
Requirements:
1. Proven experience in Finance.
2. Proficient user of finance software.
3. Professional qualification such as ICAN/ACCA.

1. Analytical and numerical skills.
2. Able to manage, guide and lead employees to ensure appropriate financial processes are being used.
3. Creative – ability to come up with creative solutions, ideas, and ability to think out-of-the-box in a fast-paced environment.
4. Strong ethics, with an ability to manage confidential data.
