Senior User Interface (UI) and User Experience (UX)CloudFift Inc

As Senior UX/UI Designer at CloudFift, you'll be responsible for collecting and translating user insights into delightful experiences. Ultimately, you’ll create both functional and appealing beautiful features that address our customer's needs. You will use your creativity and eye for design – along with your technical knowledge – to develop great experiences. You'll work with the visual designer, product manager, and our development team. Together you'll deliver UI mockups, prototypes, MVPs, and final products. In this role, you'll have the privilege of being the voice of our customers. You'll translate their needs into user-friendly designs. You will have a direct impact on the customer's user experience of our product.

Something to note: As a growing company, we don’t always have Functional Requirements Documents (FRD) or (BRD). We work spontaneously why we look to address that aspect of our design process. Build first (Base on feedback from meetings) and document later.

About the candidate:

- You know how to distill simplicity from complex user requirements.

- You know how to use the tools of the trade like Figma, Sketch, Invision, Photoshop, Marvel, Overflow.

- You have experience with user research and translating insights from research to your designs.

- You have great communication skills both when interfacing with customers as well as when working with your team.

- You are flexible, decisive and you know how to put ego aside and focus on the needs of the customer.

- You are able to lead large and complex projects.

- You know how to define and prioritize problems to be tackled.

- Identifying a UI/UX strategy and set of universal standards for all products to follow.

- Collaborate closely with engineering to build beautiful and functional user experiences for our web and mobile products.

- Champion customer needs through human-centered design practices, including discovery, research, whiteboard sessions, and user testing.

- Own and help evolve our design system and individually contribute to an array of projects that implement our design system in collaboration with our creative lead.

- Mentor and coach team members, fostering alignment in strategy and values.

- Evangelize best practices, leading by example in all aspects of design execution from ideation through production.

What it takes to excel:

· 3+ years’ experience in UI/UX / product design and a strong portfolio of work.

· You set yourself a high bar for excellence and have a deep love of the craft.

· An understanding of human-centered design with a demonstrated ability to deliver strategic design thinking in support of inspiring digital products and services.

· Intimate knowledge and experience with current design and prototyping tools including Figma, Sketch, and Adobe Suite.

· A firm understanding of the software development process, including how to work with developers.

· Strong communication skills, including presentation and written skills

· You're eager to improve your UX/UI skills.

· You're good at hearing and implementing feedback.

· You can take on projects without much oversight.

· You know how to define and prioritize problems to be tackled.

· You can lead large and complex projects.

· Ability to create video content and animation

· Strong graphic design skills

· Creative skills and the ability to come up with new and unique ideas

· You’re a Team Player, friendly, humble (Humility and People skill is a plus for this role, we don’t want to hire a sadist or someone who sees nothing good in others and our company).

· A desire to continuously learn and grow.

· Experience with all aspects of a user-centered interaction design process, including user research, concept exploration, wireframing, prototyping, UI refinement, and creation of annotated design specs.

· Ability to rapidly iterate through design solutions with diagrams, wireframes, and prototypes.

· Portfolio showcasing UI design skills.

· Exceptional ability to communicate through presentations.
