Senior Product Operations ManagerKingMakers

What you will be doing:

• Develop, lead and implement an ambitious product strategy for local markets in alignment with the product managers and other relevant subsidiaries within Betking vertical.
• Attract and oversee a small team of product ops to work with the local markets on understanding their needs and bridge the gap within product/design teams with the local needs.
• Represent the organization and provide product leadership within various open communities and with Kingmakers' countries and the respective local teams.
• Own the Kingmakers' operational product platform in local countries throughout our African footprint.
• Identify, prioritize, and execute tasks in the product development life cycle
• Plan ahead of any product releases and pos-live analysis in local markets for any new enhancement of feature.
• Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to fix and improve products
• Balance the need to deliver features for business benefit against the risk of accumulating technical debt
• Mentored and developed members of the product ops team.
  
  

What you need for this role:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, Master's degree in a related field is an added advantage
• 5+ years of experience as product ops or product manager.
• Young and ambitious individual with top start-up experience.
• An important experience in integrations for KYC, payments, customer services, etc (use of API)
• Proven team and product leadership, and an entrepreneurial spirit: a collaborative, motivated self-starter
• Ability to identify and scope user requirements and develop specifications
• Excellent management, written, and oral communication skills
• Familiarity with consumer privacy
• Desire to work in a diverse, global, highly collaborative team environment
