Responsibilities
- Offer expert legal advice and guidance to their clients or employers, helping them navigate complex legal issues.
- Review, draft, and negotiate various contracts and agreements to ensure that legal terms and conditions are favorable and compliant.
- Represent the organization’s clients in legal proceedings, including court appearances and negotiations, to resolve disputes or defend their interests.
- Ensure that the organization adheres to relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards, mitigating legal risks.
- Identify potential legal risks and challenges that the organization may face and develop strategies to address or mitigate them.
- Advise on labor and employment matters, including employment contracts, workplace policies, and handling issues related to employees' rights and grievances.
- Protect the organization's intellectual property rights by registering trademarks, copyrights, and patents, and taking action against infringements.
- Ensure that the organization follows proper corporate governance practices and complies with regulations governing its structure and operations.
- Play a vital role in due diligence, negotiation, and documentation for mergers, acquisitions, and other corporate transactions.
- Promote and uphold ethical behavior within the organization and ensure compliance with ethical codes and legal obligations.

Educational Qualifications
- Candidates should possess a University Degree (minimum of 2.1) in Law (LLB) + B.L Law School Certificate (minimum of 2.1)
- 4 - 5 years post-call experience practicing litigation law.
