job description - Sales Officer - Plastic Manufacturing
Sales Activities:
- Day-to-day sale of preform and closures, including customer payment confirmation/raising SO/waybill & invoice generation, timely dispatch.
- Customer call/market visit
- Identifying market potential, prospects, generating sales leads and converting potential into actual customers.
- Executing sales plans and activities as may be directed from time to time by Management.
- Generating new customers /addition to customer base.
- Monthly Sales projection in line with customer wise budget and achieving 95% of projected volume.
- Collection of receivables from credit customers, outstanding should not exceed 30 days.
Marketing Activities:
- Monitoring competitors’ activities / pricing/ market intelligence gathering, updating & sharing the same with management.
- Customers complaint handling and resolution, tracking of complaints to be done in prescribed format.
- Identify market opportunities Vis s vis: new product development and reporting same to Head of Sales.
Reports:
- Daily market visit reports to be shared with team leader
- Update customer database as per prescribed format and share with team leader on a monthly basis.
- Monthly projection to be prepared & shared every month in prescribed format
- Other reports as required by management.
Requirements
- Candidates MUST have a minimum of 2-4 years work experience in Sales in a plastic manufacturing company to qualify.
- Candidates who have worked in Plastic manufacturing companies are preferred.
- Only candidates who reside within the ASABA axis should apply.
