job description - Sales Officer
- We seeks to engage an experienced and highly skilled individual to take on the position of a Sales Officer.
As a Sales Officer, you shall be responsible for the following functions and more:
- Identify potential clients to approach.
- Identify precise service(s) to pitch to each prospect.
- Follow up and nurture interested persons until they are ready to deal.
- Seal as many deals as possible with prospects.
- Develop and maintain client relationships after a deal is sealed.
- Liaise with the client relationship manager were necessary to successfully seal deals.
- Ensure the company meets the set revenue targets.
- Take initiative to improve sales.
Criteria & Required Qualifications
- Hands-on experience as a marketer/sales officer is of priority
- Minimum of OND; BSc in Business Administration, Marketing, or a relevant degree is preferred.
- Must have 2-5 years experience
- Proven work experience in business development and customer services is an added advantage.
- Previous work experience in a management/business consulting company or bank is a plus
- Proficiency in both social media and offline networking techniques
- Demonstrated ability in business-to-business (B2B) sales
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong business acumen
- Good public speaking skills
- Ability to work independently with little or no supervision
- Self-motivated
- Integrity and professionalism
- Strong phone, email, and in-person communication skills
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Good people relations skills
- Proficient in proposal writing.
- Age Range: 28yrs & Above
