job description - Sales Officer

  • We seeks to engage an experienced and highly skilled individual to take on the position of a Sales Officer.

As a Sales Officer, you shall be responsible for the following functions and more:

  • Identify potential clients to approach.
  • Identify precise service(s) to pitch to each prospect.
  • Follow up and nurture interested persons until they are ready to deal.
  • Seal as many deals as possible with prospects.
  • Develop and maintain client relationships after a deal is sealed.
  • Liaise with the client relationship manager were necessary to successfully seal deals.
  • Ensure the company meets the set revenue targets.
  • Take initiative to improve sales.

Criteria & Required Qualifications

  • Hands-on experience as a marketer/sales officer is of priority
  • Minimum of OND; BSc in Business Administration, Marketing, or a relevant degree is preferred.
  • Must have 2-5 years experience
  • Proven work experience in business development and customer services is an added advantage.
  • Previous work experience in a management/business consulting company or bank is a plus
  • Proficiency in both social media and offline networking techniques
  • Demonstrated ability in business-to-business (B2B) sales
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong business acumen
  • Good public speaking skills
  • Ability to work independently with little or no supervision
  • Self-motivated
  • Integrity and professionalism
  • Strong phone, email, and in-person communication skills
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Good people relations skills
  • Proficient in proposal writing.
  • Age Range: 28yrs & Above
