Key Responsibilities
- Customer Assistance: Greet customers as they enter the store and engage them in friendly and informative conversations to understand their needs and preferences.
- Product Knowledge: Stay up-to-date on the latest electronic products, features, and specifications to effectively communicate product benefits and assist customers in making informed purchasing decisions.
- Sales Generation: Proactively approach customers to promote products, offer product demonstrations, and provide recommendations based on their requirements.
- Cross-Selling and Up-Selling: Utilize your knowledge of the product range to cross-sell and up-sell complementary products and accessories to maximize sales opportunities.
- Order Processing: Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using the point-of-sale (POS) system, ensuring proper documentation and adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Stock Management: Monitor inventory levels and assist in restocking shelves and merchandise displays to ensure a visually appealing and well-organized store environment.
- Customer Service Excellence: Address customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly and professionally, striving to exceed customer expectations and foster long-term relationships.
- Promotional Activities: Assist in the implementation of sales promotions, marketing campaigns, and store events to drive traffic and increase sales.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's Degrees in Business Administration or related fields preferred
- 3+ years relevant work experience.
- Proven experience in retail sales, preferably in the electronics industry.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and communicate effectively with customers.
- Excellent product knowledge and a passion for technology and electronic gadgets.
- Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets in a fast-paced retail environment.
- Proficiency in using POS systems and basic computer applications.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
