job description - Sales Account Manager

We are looking to employ a sales-driven and customer-oriented sales officer to join our sales team and to increase company sales by selling the company’s solutions. The Sales Account Manager’s responsibilities include recommending improvements to current sales strategies as well as preparing accurate sales and expense reports. You should also be able to continually identify new sales opportunities through customer referrals.

GENERAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

- Create detailed Sales and business plan

- Set and manage sales goals

- Finding prospects and leads

- Identify new sales opportunities

- Meet sales targets – Monthly, quarterly, and yearly

- Manage the entire sales cycle

- Build strong client relationships

- Provide customer support when needed

- Learn new product and services features and benefits

- Provide professional after-sales support

- Respond to complaints and resolve issues to ensure customer success and satisfaction

- Prepare and present reports on KPIs

- Issue periodic marketing write-ups and mailshots

- Submit an annual business plan and weekly reports to the Director of Sales

- Manage debt collection for his/her accounts

- Working as a team player with all relevant company units and staff.

- Follow up on instructions and support the sales unit activities when requested by the Directors of sales and operations and MD.

WORK EXPERIENCE

- A minimum of 5 years verifiable working experience in corporate Sales account Management performing similar tasks as mentioned above.

- Must have experience in selling systems.

- Have a proven track record selling security solutions in Nigeria in both public and private sectors.

- Must have at least 3 years experience in selling Security solutions, (experience expanding to the region will be an added advantage).

- Outstanding knowledge of MS Office

- Good knowledge of CRM software

ACADEMIC AND PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Marketing, Business Management, Electrical Engineering, or related field from a recognized University.

- Marketing professional qualification.

- Proficiency in Ms. Office.
