The Wow

The revenue accountant will be responsible for revenue accounting, reporting and reconciliation. You will need to pay great attention to details, be result driven and possess strong interpersonal skills

Your Reporting Line:

What's in it for You:

You will be responsible for:

• Managing any issue that potentially impacts revenues, from identification to quantification through to resolution
• Manage the monthly recording, booking and reconciliation of revenue activity from all Betting systems (Business Intelligence, Back Office, and Trading platform)
• Manage the weekly revenue reconciliation and escalation of differences arising from all revenue platforms.
• Analysis and interpretation of all revenue KPIs
• Reconcile Account Receivable (AR) activity to the general ledger and prepare to adjust journal entries as needed
• Handling the audit of the subsystem interface to the general ledger
• Reconciling the Agents and Online wallet balances to General Ledger monthly
• Prepare clear and organized account analysis of all relevant balance sheet accounts monthly.
• Assist in the preparation for year-end and other audits
• Support the business to ensure compliance with internal processes, relevant laws, and regulations
• Perform other duties as assigned from time-to-time
  
  

Some Must-Haves?

• Bachelor's degree in any numerate or social science course.
• Full membership of ICAN, ACCA or any Professional Accounting body.
• Flexibility in thinking and pragmatic problem-solving skills.
• Working knowledge of ERP systems
• Strong accounting background.
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in MS productivity tools.
• Time and Priority Management Skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Excellent communication skills - both verbal and written.
