- We are seeking to hire a Restaurant General Manager who will be responsible for the overall management of the restaurant, including planning, organizing, directing, and controlling restaurant operations to ensure efficient and profitable operations.
- The General Manager will work closely with other managers and employees to create a positive and productive work environment, maintain high standards of food quality, customer service, and cleanliness, and achieve financial objectives.
Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day operations of the restaurant, including food preparation, service, and cleaning
- Monitor and maintain high standards of food quality, customer service, and cleanliness
- Recruit, train, and manage restaurant staff, including scheduling, payroll, and performance evaluations
- Develop and implement marketing strategies to attract and retain customers
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, and maintain accurate records
- Analyze financial reports to identify areas of improvement and implement cost-control measures
- Manage inventory and ordering of supplies, and ensure proper maintenance of equipment
- Foster a positive and productive work environment, and resolve any customer complaints or employee issues that arise
Requirements and Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field preferred
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in restaurant management, with at least 10 years in a leadership role
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong leadership and decision-making skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Knowledge of restaurant industry trends and best practices
- Familiarity with restaurant software and POS systems
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
