job description - Quality Control Officer
- To analyze product samples from the raw materials to the finished products in order to meet baker’s quality satisfaction for the company to make profit.
The Job
- Lead the in-process and out process of quality evaluations, actions for improvement, and resolution.
- Ensure all raw material and finished products used conform with set standards and specification.
- Assess customer requirements and ensure that the requirements are met.
- Supervise methods and procedures for monitoring Quality Gold Standards from raw materials to the finished products and how to improve process checks.
- Perform root cause analysis and other problem-solving activities to identify effective corrective actions.
- Ensure legal obligations are followed and monitor compliance with regulatory bodies and with health and safety guidelines.
- Ensure quality control objectives adhere with site requirements and central quality control/quality assurance team to maintain product safety, quality, reliability and minimize cost.
- Supervise calibration of laboratory equipment and accuracy of all analytical procedures and equipment in the plant.
- Interact with Bakers, Dealers, and Customers to identify opportunities to improve quality and establish feedback with production personnel.
- Ensure gold standard quality efficiency of all products.
Qualifications
- HND / BSc. in Microbiology, Chemistry, Food Science & Technology or any other related fields.
- Experience
- 3 years cognate experience in FMCG

- Possess strong analytical and quantitative skills.
- Be detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Possess the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
