job description - Project Manager

  • Configure inverters according to manufacturer instructions and customer specifications.
  • Conduct routine maintenance on inverters to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with inverters, identifying root causes and implementing solutions.
  • Repair or replace faulty components, such as capacitors, diodes, and transformers.
  • Test and verify the proper operation of inverters after installation, maintenance, or repair.
  • Document work performed, including parts used, time spent, and any relevant information needed for future reference.
  • Provide technical support to customers regarding the use and maintenance of inverters.
  • Keep up-to-date with industry developments and advancements in inverter technology.

Qualifications

  • OND/High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in electrical or electronics preferred.
  • Proven experience as an inverter technician or similar role.
  • Knowledge of inverter systems and related equipment, including wiring, circuitry, and power electronics.
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and electrical diagrams.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Proximity to Lekki is an advantage Leading the planning and implementation of projects, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
  • Facilitate the definition of project scope, goals, and deliverables, ensuring clarity and focus.
  • Define project tasks and resource requirements to optimize project efficiency.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans that guide the team to success.
  • Team Coordination: Assemble and coordinate project staff, fostering a collaborative and productive working environment.
  • Manage project budgets effectively, ensuring financial targets are met.
  • Resource Allocation: Allocate project resources wisely, optimizing productivity.
  • Plan and schedule project timelines to meet deadlines and milestones.
  • Track project deliverables using appropriate tools and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
  • Provide direction and support to the project team, ensuring everyone is aligned with project goals.
  • Maintain high project quality standards throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Continuously monitor and report on the project's progress to all stakeholders, keeping everyone informed.
  • Address project challenges and implement necessary changes and interventions to achieve desired outputs.
  • Conduct project evaluations and assess results to drive continuous improvement.

Job Requirements / Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering.
  • Possess a professional qualification in Project Management or equivalent, such as PMP and Prince 2.
  • A minimum of 7 years of proven work experience as a Project Manager, with at least 5 years of experience in the ICT sector.
