job description - Pre Sales Engineer, Team Lead
- As the Team Lead, you will be responsible for leading a team of Business and Project Analysts to drive the business and technical areas of our technology solutions offerings.
- Your expertise and leadership will play a critical role in supporting the business development team, developing designing and costing technical solutions, and delivering compelling solution descriptions and presentations to clients.
Key Duties And Responsibilities
Team Leadership:
- Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to a team of Business and Project Analysts.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
Solutions Proposal Delivery:
- Collaborate with the Business Development team to understand client requirements and develop appropriate technical solutions.
- Lead the preparation and delivery of technical presentations and demonstrations to prospective clients.
- Develop in-depth knowledge of our products and services and effectively communicate their value propositions to clients.
Solution Design and Consultation:
- Gather and analyze client needs and develop innovative solutions to meet their requirements.
- Design and architect complex telecommunications and IT solutions utilizing assigned subject matter experts, vendors and OEMs.
- Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor solutions.
Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, OEM partners, and internal teams.
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, understanding their long-term business objectives and aligning our solutions accordingly.
Requirements
Experience, Education and/or Professional Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in a Technology or Business-related course
- 5 years job experience in the information technology or related technical service provider sector.
- A record of achievement and business solution expertise
- Product sales certification, Project Management certification, engineering design credentials, or equivalent technical sales credentials for OEM solutions.
Essential Skills/Knowledge:
- Adaptability and learning agility
- Commercial awareness and business analysis
- Estimation and Costing
- Demonstrate understanding of systems administration and performance tuning of application/software - virtualization, containerization, automation software, Cloud architecture, UNIX/Linux-based environments, etc.
- Hands-on understanding of network design and implementation in IP networks – switches, routers, firewalls, bandwidth managers, IP telephony systems, wireless network, etc.
