job description - Operations Manager
- Actively pursue the company’s strategic and operational objectives.
- Ensure operational activities remain on time and within a defined budget.
- Track staffing requirements and oversee the hiring of new employees as needed.
- Conduct budget reviews and report cost plans to upper management.
- Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
- Track company-wide financial information and review reporting for management.
- Manage timely data collection to update operations metrics to achieve productivity targets, eliminate errors, and deliver excellent services.
- Grow the efficiency of existing organizational processes and procedures to enhance and sustain the organization’s internal capacity.
- Collaborate with and supervise cross-functional support teams in improving tools and systems for business efficiency.
- Recommend strategies and advise the Creative Director on issues that pertain to the development of the company.
- Ensure that the company’s activities remain compliant to statutory directives.
- Monitor and ensure compliance to all financial, human resources and safety compliance directives.
- Maintain constant communication with management, staff, and external stakeholders to ensure proper operations of the organization.
- Lead, motivate, and support a large team within a time-sensitive and demanding environment, including setup and implementation of career development plans for all direct reports and problem resolution.
- Oversee training and development of all employees in line with identified needs.
- Organize and monitor implementation of periodic performance appraisals.
- Provide monthly reports on key operations of the company not limited to: Human Resources, Finance, production etc.
- Oversee materials and inventory management.
- Receive, review and compile reports from the management team.
- Perform any other tasks as assigned.
Requirements
- Minimum of B.Sc Degree in Business Administration.
- Management certification is a plus.
- Minimum of 6 years relevant experience
- Experience in the fashion industry is compulsory.

- Please note that proximity to the island is key.
