job description - Marketer
- The marketer is expected to market a Charity school to the public and persuade people to donate to support the low-income children at the School either immediately or get them to make a commitment to make payments some later time.
- Meeting with clients to discuss donation guidelines, goals, budget and timelines
- Conduct market research to identify opportunities for promotion and growth
- Researching previous successful campaigns to understand what worked, what didn’t and what can be improved
- Reviewing the progress and success of a campaign, making adjustments or pitching ideas for new campaigns as necessary.
- Prepare content for the publication of marketing material and oversee distribution.
- Collaborate with managers in preparing budgets and monitoring expenses.
Education / Experience
- Candidates should possess an OND / HND / B.Sc / BA in Marketing, Business Administration or relevant field
- 1 - 2 years work experience.
Skills:
- Proven experience as marketing officer or similar role
- Solid knowledge of marketing techniques and principles
- Good understanding of market research techniques, statistical and data analysis methods
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office and marketing software (e.g. CRM)
- Thorough understanding of social media and web analytics
- Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
- Creativity and commercial awareness.
- A team player with a customer-oriented approach.
- Data analysis, critical thinking, problem-solving and decision-making,time management, bargaining skills.
- Comfortable in high-pressure and fast-paced environments.
