job description - Junior Recruiter

Responsibilities

  • Sourcing and screening potential candidates through various channels, such as job boards, social media, and employee referrals.
  • Reviewing resumes and applications to assess candidate qualifications and skills.
  • Conducting phone and in-person interviews to evaluate candidates fit for open positions. Conducting reference and background checks as required.
  • Collaborating with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and develop job descriptions and requirements.
  • Assisting in the preparation and presentation of job offers, including negotiating salary and benefits.
  • Participating in job fairs and other recruitment events to attract qualified candidates.
  • Providing regular updates on the recruitment process to hiring managers and stakeholders.
  • Ensuring compliance with hiring laws, regulations, and company policies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
  • Minimum of 1-2 years post-NYSC experience.
  • Ability to successfully close out 6 roles monthly
  • Proven track record closing recruitment processes
  • Previous experience in recruitment, in a corporate or agency setting.
  • Strong knowledge of recruitment best practices and current trends.
  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems and other HR software.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to effectively screen and evaluate candidate qualifications and skills
