- We are looking for an IT Support Officer who will be responsible for installing and configuring computer systems, diagnosing hardware and software faults, and solve technical and application problems.
Responsibilities
- Installing and configuring computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, and scanners
- Monitoring and maintaining computer systems and networks
- Responding in a timely manner to service issues and requests
- Providing technical support across the company (this may be in person or over the phone)
- Setting up accounts for new users
- Troubleshoot system and network problems, diagnosing and solving hardware or software faults
- Replace parts as required
Experience, Skills, and Competencies
- Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree, HND / OND
- 2-5 years experience as an IT Support Officer
- A technical, logical thought process
- A keen eye for detail
- Ability to think logically
- A good memory of how software and operating systems work
- Excellent listening and questioning skills, combined with the ability to interact confidently with clients to establish what the problem is and explain the solution
- The ability to work well in a team
- Problem-solving skills
