job description - HR Officer
Responsibilities
- Managing recruitment and selection processes, including writing and placing job adverts.
- Working closely with Line managers regarding recruitment needs and constant evaluation of immediate and longer-term recruitment needs.
- Ensure stringent right-to-work checks and responsibility for tracking visa expiry dates.
- Obtaining all work-related references.
- Create and implement effective onboarding plans
- Coordinate with HR & Training Administrator regarding the setting up of personnel/ training files for new starters and induction needs.
- Support with setting up new starters on Core HR and Core T&A biometric scanner.
- General HR administration and support with any ad hoc HR projects as required.
Requirements
- HND / B.Sc in Business Administration or related field
- Proven experience as HR officer, administrator, or other HR position
- Hands-on experience with various selection processes (video interviewing, phone interviewing, reference check, etc.)
- Proficient in writing and documentation
- Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems and resume database
- Must be an active learner willing to learn and follow instructions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Applicant should have a working laptop
- Female applicants preferred.
