?Job Description

?Support OVC families to attain household stability, resilience and food security for social protection; financial literacy and literacy training, financial management planning, savings (VSLA) initiatives/interventions for caregivers and older OVC (especially females at risk of early marriage).
?Facilitate the establishment of Caregivers/adult VSLA groups, (forming and norming of groups) and related activities.
?Step down training to VSLA group’s members in VSLA methodology and group’s activities, identification of IGAs, basics of how to run a small business and basic principles of IGAs.
?Identify and link OVC families to agricultural extension workers who provide technical education on appropriate rural farming methods and techniques.
?Identify agricultural experts in the state to educate OVC households to engage in dry-season irrigation farming activities.
?Educate households on how to use organic manure using tree leaves and kitchen gardening methods.
?Support VSLA group’s members to invest in agriculture products and link them to subsidized sources of fertilizers and agricultural inputs.
?Take lead and support CVs in mobilizing Community-led food banks efforts to promote food security
?Coordinate and facilitate the implementation of pre-primary education for OVC using kids and ECD community-based clubs.
?Coordinate and support the implementation of for primary school education, nutrition initiatives through community-led food banks, protection of children from harm and training caregivers in better parenting skills.
?Advocate to local authorities, village heads and parents for community-sponsored school feeding programs in primary schools
?Support community volunteers to conduct home visits and sensitize parents on supporting OVC with school homework and identify their unique needs.
?Coordinate and facilitate the implementation of direct sponsorship for vocational

?Requirements:
?First Degree in Social Sciences or related discipline with at least 2 years experience of direct work with OVC and HIV prevention, and Household and Economic Strengthening and Education Program
