job description - Head Of Sales

  • The Head of Sales is expected to contribute to the sale of all the Company’s products.
  • He/she will also be charged with the responsibility of generating new business ideas and devising strategies for attracting and maintaining new and existing clients. The role will report to the Managing Director

 

Duties

  • Customer acquisition: Marketing, & sales of products to prospective investors, by sending proposals and following up
  • Meeting with prospective clients and selling company’s investment products, to ensure that revenue targets are met.
  • Establishing a network of referrals
  • Ensuring that Company policy and guidelines are strictly adhered to.
  • Providing feedback to assist in strategic decision making.
  • Ensuring implementation of marketing strategies within States and Regions
  • Responding to all subscription enquiries and requests on all electronic platforms
  • Producing weekly marketing and sales reports, including performance review reports.
  • Preparing call memos.
  • Provide continuous marketing feedback on prospects and further steps to take
  • Providing timely information to the middle and back offices, to ensure clients’ requests/complaints are treated timely and efficiently
  • Providing competition watch feedback
  • Providing clients with up to date information on their investments.
  • Improving our net promoters score (NPS)

 

Qualifications

  • A Degree holder in Marketing or Business related fields
  • At least 8 years’ experience in selling investment products, with evidence of successes recorded.
  • Registered with the securities and exchange commission (SEC) is an added advantage
  • Excellent use of MS Office Applications, and other Technology based tools
  • Good knowledge of financial products.
  • Knowledge of the terrain
