job description - Group General Manager


  • Oversee the entire operations of the group for efficiency and effectiveness towards achieving set corporate goals.
  • Develop the recruitment and selection procedure
  • Conduct job evaluations and prepare job descriptions for all positions in the group.
  • Prepare the organization’s remuneration and other budgets,recommend, plan and implement remuneration structure revisions.
  • Set up key performance measurement matrix and indicators for all job functions and ensure planning, monitoring and appraisal of all employee work results periodically.
  • Formulate effective performance appraisal policy, procedures and ensure its compliance. Review and analyze the performance appraisal managing process
  • Conduct training needs analysis and institutionalize a well coordinated human capital development program focusing on results and impact by recruiting, selecting, orientating, and training employees.
  • Set up the working methodology for succession planning analysis, implementation and monitoring.
  • Ensure proper management of staff resources and maintenance of occupational health safety.
  • Advise staff on all policy matters and recommend needed changes
  • Initiate sales and marketing strategies to surpass set targets
  • Ensure accurate accounting system for effective reports

Qualifications / Requirements

  • First degree. Additional qualification is an advantage
  • Minimum of 10 years experience in Accounting / Audit
  • Manufacturing/FMCG industry is required
