  • The General operations support – Services specialist is responsible for the technical delivery and fulfillment of customer order within the Subsea and Surface Production Systems (S&SPS) Product line workshop.
  • The role will be reporting directly to the operations manager, the support specialist ensures that all work packages are executed safely, in time, at the right quality in compliance with applicable Procedures and company processes.

  • As a general operations support – Services specialist, you will be responsible for:
  • Ensuring all documentation is in place before commencing job such as JSA, risk assessment, lift plans, Permit and procedures as required. And ensure that on job completion procedures are signed-off, reports created, housekeeping completed, and task hours correctly vouched each day.
  • Reporting any faults in machinery, tooling and assigned area of responsibility immediately to supervisor or store man.
  • Identifying potential issues with tasks and communicating same in compliance with Company’s Regulatory HSE, Quality and Compliance standards
  • Contributing to flawless execution in carrying out demobilization, repairs, refurbishment mobilization and pre-load out checks on customer Subsea equipment
  • Maintaining, Repairing and Testing of Subsea Production equipment (SSPE) within the services product line.
  • Being able to read, follow, understand complex drawings, BoMs, GAs, schematics, and technical procedures to execute subsea equipment disassembly, assembly, build and test work orders.
  • Preparing timely and accurate post job technical reports for operations team’s records.
  • Ensuring that work packages are executed in a safe manner in accordance with the hours located for each job.
  • Raising non-conformance reports (NCRs) and identifying areas requiring management of change (MOC).

Requirements
To be successful in this role you will:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from an accredited university.
  • 3+ years of hand-on workshop experience in Subsea equipment range of products.
  • Specific workshop hands-on experience in – Subsea Drilling, Completion, production, intervention, workover, Plug and abandonment equipment.
  • Proven hands-on experience in repairs, maintenance, refurbishment, and modification of topside and subsea equipment such as HPUs, Chokes, control modules, valves, and valve actuators, SCMs, XT, TH, THS, CPs, ITC, IWOCS, EDP, LRP, running tools, Landing string, CART tools, DAT tool, PADPRT, E/HFL, E/HDJ, E/H MUX, well Jumpers, subsea connectors, CDU, manifold, test equipment, downhole components, instrumentation, and fittings.
  • Knowledge on basic subsea system architecture and equipment.
  • Demonstrated technical competence and leadership ability within a workshop setting.
  • Familiar with industry standards such as API, ISO DNV, NORSOK.
  • Knowledge and experience with RLWIS are an added advantage.
  • Knowledge, certification and trained in - working at heights, Slinging and Lifting, abrasive wheels, pressure testing, Confined Space and any other relevant workshop skills is an added advantage.
