job description - General Manager

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the operations of the company for efficiency and effectiveness towards achieving set-goals.
  • Prepare the company’s remuneration and other budgets,recommend, plan and implement remuneration structure revisions.
  • Set up key performance measurement matrix and indicators for all job functions and ensure planning, monitoring and appraisal of all employee work results periodically.
  • Formulate effective performance appraisal policy, procedures and ensure its compliance
  • Conduct training needs analysis and institutionalize a well coordinated human capital development program focusing on results and impact by recruiting, selecting, orientating, and training employees.
  • Ensure proper management of staff resources and maintenance of occupational health safety.
  • Initiate sales and marketing strategies to surpass set targets

Qualifications / Requirements

  • First Degree in any course. Additional qualification is an advantage
  • Minimum of 6 years management experience
  • Manufacturing / FMCG industry is required

Skill Set:

  • Administration and management
  • Business Acumen
  • Attention to details.
  • Use of computer.
