job description - Full Stack Engineer
The Full-Stack developer will work with our development, creative and project management teams to develop and deploy a cutting-edge application with innovative technologies.
In this position, you will be asked to collaborate with other engineers, creative and project management teams to design and deliver state of the art front-end architectures that push the boundaries of modern applications. The developer must have an understanding of traditional and modern front-end application design and development.
IN THIS POSITION, YOU WILL
- Have direct input into the architectural design and communicate this clearly to other team members.
- Push the limits with modern technology and platform architectures to expand upon how we can engage and capture the attention of our customers through our application's interface.
- Review merge requests to make sure they adhere to the agreed scope and architectural design.
- Coach developers on best practices in a productive way - to improve execution on the product.
- Work with clients and other engineers to define application architectures.
- Scope and estimate application development time and resources
- Develop and document standards and best practices and educate the community on them
About you
- Educated to a degree level, or with a minimum 3+ years of professional working experience We're looking for someone who can make well-considered decisions on full development strategy, as well as roll up their sleeves and write the code.
- A keen interest in DevOps
- You’ve maintained and built projects using modern frameworks. We're looking for someone with a solid foundation in the fundamentals but can also pick the right tool for job.
- Thorough understanding of common development patterns, architectures, and best practices
- You'll have a history of working with designers to implement high-quality interfaces.
- Expert knowledge developing and maintaining responsive web applications
- Ability to demonstrate strong working knowledge and strategy regarding the development of application styling and themes.
YOu MUST have the following skillset:
- ReactJS
- Python/Django
- HTML and CSS/SCSS.
- Node.js/Express TypeScript
- PostgreSQL Database
- experience deploying applications on AWS and/or Heroku
