job description - Finance Manager
- Manage all aspects of Accounting & Financial Management / Reporting.
- Assist in Managing client relationships and ensure consistent growth in project income.
- Liaise with the external Auditors, Accountants, and Tax Authorities to ensure the timely completion of all statutory returns and Accounts.
Job Responsibilities
- Ensure that the Company's Accounting records are properly maintained.
- Deliver and maintain a cost-effective accounting and financial system that meets the current and future business requirements of the Company.
- Oversee the external audit, review and analyse results and recommend the Audited Financial Statements for approval.
- Manage the payroll function, ensuring efficient systems, processes, and controls the lead annual budget planning process and compliance by all Units.
- Establish and maintain adequate internal controls.
- Develop cash flow forecasting and maintain a long-term cash forecast.
- Manage ongoing banking relationships for maximum efficiency.
- Support the provision of accurate and timely project information and reports to existing clients.
Qualifications
Minimum qualifications and preferred skills:
- HND / B.Sc Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics.
- Any relevant part (or full) Professional qualifications - ACA, CIMA, AAT, ICAN.
- 8+ years of relevant experience in a similar Accounting role.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, diplomacy, and persuasion skills.
- Strong ability to work independently, multitask and manage time effectively.
- Strong organization and problem-solving skills.
- High standard of spoken and written English.
- Strong computer skills, including the use of email and key MS Office applications.
- Strong knowledge of financial accounting systems.
- An analytical mind with problem-solving skills.
- A team player with good leadership skills.
