- We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Finance and Credit Controller to join our growing team.

- You will be responsible for managing accounts receivable, credit control, and financial reporting, while upholding our commitment to social responsibility and financial inclusion.
Key Responsibilities
Accounts Receivable:
- Manage customer accounts and ensure timely payments of loans and other dues.
- Issue invoices and statements accurately and efficiently.
- Monitor overdue accounts and initiate collection efforts, following ethical and respectful procedures.
- Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies.
Credit Control:
- Assess the creditworthiness of loan applicants using financial analysis and risk assessment tools.
- Set appropriate credit limits and monitor customer creditworthiness.
- Develop and implement effective credit control policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with loan officers to ensure adherence to credit policies.
Financial Reporting:
- Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Analyze financial data and identify trends or potential risks.
- Provide financial information and insights to management for decision-making.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate and complete financial records.
- Comply with all relevant financial regulations and reporting requirements.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of internal control procedures.
- Participate in special projects as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Must have registered as a student with ICAN/ACCA.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the financial sector.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers.
- Proficient in financial accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Familiarity with relevant financial regulations and reporting standards.
- Strong commitment to ethical and responsible banking practices.
